    Mk5 Sten – Progress Report

    Thought some of you might like to see how the Mk5 Sten is progressing.



    The first picture is how it looked when I got it.

    The pistol grip was in need of help.



    This is where I am with it now.















    As you can probably guess, I am VERY happy with the repair of the pistol grip. It’s a processional job that was done by an armoUrer who has a great deal of experience. The walnut patches are dovetailed in and the dowels are English oak.













    The suppressor is not finished yet. The barrel still needs to be parkerized and the aluminum tube that holds the K-baffle stack needs to be anodized.

    I am also working on the front sight.
