    You contact Springfield Reasearch Service (they have a website) and you have to subscribe to their magazine ("Martial Arms Collector" - it is a good one). Cost of their letter for a DCM sales rifle is in the $60-70 range.

    springfield M1922 MII SRS check Please

    I have two Springfield M1922II one is serial # 1756B and the other is 2318B. Great Rifles to shoot. Any record in the SRS on either of them?

    No hit on either number. There are serial numbers close to 1756 that were issued to high schools. If it is drilled and tapped for scope blocks it may have originally been a DCM Club Issue rifle.

    Thanks Hershel. They are pretty clean guns. 1756B has a matching bolt and 2318B does not. I acquired both of them from a long time Army NG competitive shooter back in the 1990s.

    Nothing on 1922 #1362. Two close numbers #1348 and #1360 were shown as 1922 International Match riles that were shipped from SA to the International Rifle Team on 5-27-24.
