    Now here's the one to buy, its an authentic enfield sniper use too. Lyman all weather alaskan, they were used on canadian snipers, very rare. The scopes the canuck used were serial numbered and are top dollar, however lyman made many others outside that serial range and they're cheap.

    One drama w/ Lymans is that they are often 7/8" dia. Could make a sleeve.....

    I even found a listing for enfield sniper T with lyman, follow link to site, click on home page box in middle of page for sniper rifles, scroll down to enfield, nice rifle..

    A weaver k3 look like the one for me.

    I received my Sarco mount today. very nice. Any one know what the correct screws to mount the pads. Also I am missing the screw that goes into the front of the front site. What is the size of that one.

    For screws etc, springfield sporters or numrich, they mostly list and illustrate the bits ,so you could ID that sight screw.

    Was rooting about and found my faux bracket w/ a Burris 4X Compact mounted in it. The turret is not forward of the front ring but otherwise looks pretty darn good w/ its matte finish and ever so slightly belled objective.

    Now called a "Timberline", apparently.
