Poor Hess wasn't in a lot of things.
He could sure as heck fly, though!
It must rank as one of the greatest crimes of the Twentieth Century that, during all the years of Hess's imprisonment, he was NEVER allowed to talk with a competent historian. We could have learned so much from him: the man who actually took down 'Mein Kampf' as Hitler dictated it to him, the Deputy Fuhrer...... all lost. I think he was done in to keep him from talking about his flight to Scotland.
