TSMG's-R-MORE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ENJOY LIFE AND HAVE FUN!!!
I have used many different weapons over the years, and still have confidence in the M1Carbine with the proper ammo. It is very light weight, easy to maneuver with, has plenty of stopping power for anything that is withing threat range. I have spare parts, plenty of ammo to last a long time, and it is a piece of cake to do basic maintenance on. I have a go kit, and LBE set up for it. It, and a decent pistol should take care of most things. Now to find a new holster....

Since they come in pairs, should have another back up pistol for the other holster.
This does bring up another thing that you guys may be able to help me on. I love the type sling on the M1Garand for ease and speed of changing length for different uses. The main thing that allows this, is that quick release clamp on it. The Garand takes a 1 1/4 sling, and the carbine a 1 inch. Would love to find a sling that would look correct, but allow quick changes on my Carbine, like the Garand. A source for 1 inch wide clamps like the Garand has would be neat.

Had to try again.

Just google for CAM LOCK BUCKLES for 1" webbing
The easy way safe for all except those on the receiving end.....

Me; I'd stick with my 18" FAL and 9mm M&P. After the initial chaos there will be plenty "battle field pickups" available to supplement defense with.
03-4, Remington Rand 1911.
Don't plan on getting to close.
Old school battle, like the Over Mountain Warriors.
