I guess I'm just not clear about posting What and Where.

Should this post have been put in the 'Commercial Auction and Sales Gossip forum' or in the 'Other Military Service Pistols and Revolvers' forum?

Is it OK that it's posted here because there was no Auction link provided within the text?
Charlie, I do have it posted in them military pistols forum. I merely posted it here as a "post script" to some of the M1icon Carbine/my dad/Iwo Jima posts I have shared here through the years. I sort of took on a life of its own, though!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. This thread originally started talking about his father and his carbine. Then moving on to another weapon he carried. Some other interesting items were also discussed.

It has now moved away from our forums topic, carbines. As interesting as they are, I believe any further disscusions of off topic items should continue on another forum, or by PM's.

For those reasons I am closing this thread.
