I get approached by some junky at least once a day around here, this is no exaggeration. Pumping gas, walking out from buying smokes, even walking to your car after a meal at a restaurant with your family. I've seen one dumb enough to approach guys half lit sitting at the bar, that fella didn't fare to well I'll tell you, kinda hard to find the door with both eyes swelled shut. They all have the same story. It's always they need a couple of bucks for gas because they're broke and need to get to the hospital to pick up their KID!! Most of the time I say NOPE!! or if I'm in a bad mood I'll tell them to Get Lost, male or female. Using your little ones "if you even have kids in the first place" to fool someone into handing over their hard earned cash so you can score your heroin is disgusting.
I grew up on these here streets and there ain't nothing getting past me buddy but it must work on some people because it's always the same story.....

BTW, off duty LEO, I never saw a gun pulled by the guy on the phone. Doesn't mean much I know. Just sayin'. Wow, he dropped like soggy turd from a tall horse!

Bill, I don't see the bad guy gun, but believe it was in his right hand along with the phone.
When the off duty LEO shoots, I see no type of muzzle flash.
But pretty rough grainey (sp?) video.
