Here's our Regimental response to the posters. Josh Leakey VC doesn't mind having his photo shown:

That's more like the Armies I knew. I guess if the snowflakes get attacked by a "real" enemy they will just wave their "time out" cards! LOL!! You can't make this *hit up!!

Really, gentlemen. What are you thinking? Hard Bastards? That is going to offend all potential recruits with ED! You need to pair it with a poster saying we also accept Limp Bastards, and Viagra is included with enlistment.

don't worry guys, your british military will soon have sequined uniforms and rhinestone studded purses designed by Elton John.

"sergeant why was your platoon 20 minutes late" asked the captain.
"we couldn't color coordinate our hand bags" said the sergeant

if your military can meet the requirements for the old song "dude looks like a lady",

When these new recruiting posters, for the Britishicon Army, came out were any of the criteria for new recruits such as health, age, previous background etc etc also changed? I can sort of understand where the person who designed the posters is coming from; the problem is I'm not sure it's going to work. I suppose the theory is that the training staff will be able to change the recruits sufficiently during training?

the program isn't going to do ANYTHING useful. Merely lets someone in the general staff? make themselves look innovative..

    really, seriously.... its a fact.

if you want military personnel, you need someone that is going to wipe their buddys intestines off their face and rifle, take a bead on someone and pull the trigger.

Not some god damned ***** *** bitches with time out cards.

I got a medical discharge, not healthy enough lung wise to serve. but DAMN, give me a rifle and ammo and ill keep the damn red coats busy.

We got rid of the "red coats" by the way, we are now in disruptive pattern like you guys
Lets not get political over stupid/ridiculous posters, its old news now and the stunt failed. Those that have always wanted to be servicemen or women will always be there, but sadly not in the same numbers as in the past. Perhaps a good pay rise this time round and youngsters will come forward for the best training life can prepare you for when you come out!

pay doesn't mean anything at all as far as getting someone to enlist. at least someone worth having enlist.

Pay a man or woman the "right living wage" and ask them to commit to their respective role in the military with their best efforts, and .................
IMHO they deserve to support their families with the right level of pay commensurate with that task when they are away dealing with angry men whilst others sleep peacefully at home!
