    Ohio Shooter Checking In!

Been into surplus firearms as long as I can remember! Been enjoying shooting them as well! I have participated at Camp Perry In the National Matches since the 90's and really enjoy it. Great site!

Hey, just found this place. I'm more of a black rifle guy but I own a SA Garandicon, a Longbranch No4 Mk1 Enfieldand and I just picked up a NPM carbine from the CMPicon. (one of the last 100 or so)

From now on I think I'll be concentrating on stuff from the CMP until they run out.

    USN Ka-Bar

    Hello everyone,
This is my first time posting here and I just had a question or two about a Ka-Bar i've had for quite some time now. I got this from my father many years ago and never really gave it much thought until recently. On one side of the blade is marked Ka-Bar the opposite side USN MK-2. I've done some looking on the internet but did not realize how many different styles/ models there were. How can I go about getting a positive id on this and a possible time frame. Thanks for any input.
