A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hi guys
I'm collector since I was very young, because my father was also collector. My collection in not huge, but every gun have his own history, starting from the old Carcano (made in 1911, competition model, impossible to find) won by my grandfather in a shooting contest in Italyicon before the WWI. My favourites are the italian rifles of WWI and WWII, but I like also german rifles, from Kar 98 K to Stg. 44.
With no doubt I'll have many question. Please forgive my terrible English.

Hi all Just came on board and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Bruce and I hope to use this site often and and contribute whenever I can. I'm not much of a computer kind of guy but I'm trying. Last week I was fortunate enough to purchase a BSA No.7 Mk.1, 22cal trainer. She's missing a few parts but, with some help, I hope to get her complete and out to the range. This is a great site. Thanks to all.

    Bruce

    Hi!

I llive in Central New York state, and I have an interest in milsurp guns and related items. My modest collection consists of:

Browning P35 brought back from WWII by my father,
U.S. M-1 Carbine that has been blued (bummer, but it was cheap),
    Enfield #4 Mk 1 1/2,
    Swissicon K31,
    Springfield '03A3 sporter

I've had others and am always looking for more at bargain prices. Maybe at the Oneonta, NY gun show tomorrow!

    Good day all

I am a new member, I have been a collector of WW2 weapons and such for over 20 years. I have 2 M1icon carbines. An early WW2 Winchester, pretty much all correct (flat bolt, correct barrel, barrel band, magazines, flip sight, etc) Also have an Inland, fairly correct, a shooter. Have also owned Garand's and 1903 Springfields, among others.

    Hello to the Group!

Now that I've retired, I have too much time on my hands. Time to work on the collection of milsurp weapons I've collected over the years. Thanks for creating a website where I can get help in my endeavors!

Thumbs up New to the Game

Hi Just starting work on my fourth 'untouched' Martini Henry from Atlanta Cutlery. With a comfortable warm workshop it is a great way to while away some pleasant hours in the winter, especially. Generally the woodwork takes the most time especially a Mk II with a split stock 'wrist'. To make an imperceptible repair is really satisfying.
