    I believe Clive Law quotes an "Assistant CIGS" as saying that the Canadianicon scopes were "far better than anything we or the Germans have so far produced." Though to be fair, they hadn't seen much of the Germanicon stuff, or else just weren't paying attention. (As I recall the only comparitive test run of a No32 and a German scope was done against a ZF41 which is hardly a fair comparison.)

    AFAIK the C67 was not particularly innovative technically, but it was certainly a lot closer to what our snipers should have had in 1939 and now have, and like the REL TOS it was built using existing optical components, and was probably a lot cheaper to produce than the No32.
