    Hi BD6,
No I have not read that one but will have a look for it, my latest buys are WWI all 1st eds H/C's - Twelve Months with the Anzacs, Trenching at Gallipoli, Glorious deeds of Australaisians in the great war Hells Bells and Mademoiselles bit of Boer war stuff all 1st's H/C's Ian Hamiltons March, How we kept the flag flying.
Getting there with WWI but I cannot afford some of the rarer titles as they run from 500AU just for a reading copy up to 700+AU for say a VG and pristine is name yer price!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hi Son,
I checked under the bolt handle and it does have the X1940 on it so it is all together it is at the Dr's getting the bedding checked over as I just slapped it together and have probably put 60-70 down the tube since I swapped the stocks so thought I had better get it checked just in case I was damaging the draws or anything else for that matter.
    Cheers,
CINDERS rounds through it in 10 ye
