Hello to everyone.
I grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. There was always a rifle leaning in the corner for a quick few shots at a tin can or a short stroll out into the woods to get a squirel for my grandmother to cook. Evenings I watched westerns or movies with world two themes. Recently I purchased "War Baby" by Ruth and have been reviewing new web sites. That is how I came across MILSURPLUS.COM Hope to spend many hours here reading. Thanks

Hello to all,
New member, and brand new to collecting military surplus firearms. Started my very modest collection with a Norinco SKS, and already have an eye on an M-1 Garand
, and those Mosin Nagants look awfully tempting. Looking forward to checking out all the superior knowledge on the subject from fellow members...

Finally getting serious about an old interest...
Hello folks!
Wandered in today while searching out some detail parts for my M1
and decided to stick around and see what I could learn.
I do minor gun work with small mechanical repairs and fairly serious stock restorations (if history details are not compromised) and have found a thorough addiction to .30 caliber milsurp rifles.
I don't have a 200 rifle collection, but I have managed to pick up 2 MN 91/30s, a 1943 M1Garand, and a 1982 SKS (Which sorta counts!)
I also reload like mad, even on 7.62x54r for the 91/30s! Cast my own bullets as well. Combined, I save a serious chunk on ammo!
Hope I can be of some use around here in the future. Meantime, I'll learn too.

Good morning!
I am a new member, looking forward to the information I can acquire here, mostly relating to reloading aspects of some rifles/pistols. I'm not wealthy and therefore unable to acquire many of the things I would wish, but it is still interesting to learn of the many types of firearms and memorabilia that are still available. I am a retired AF enlisted puke (57-77) and expect to die complaining about "what I could have/should have bought in the past"!!!
Thanks for the venue!!

Great to get involved with a group that shares my interests
I have been an collector of Military surplus weapons for years but have had a hard time finding like minds in one spot. This is a great opportunity to grow and share with an obviously great bunch of Americans.
