After a lot of research I found out that mine was an 1867 Bayonet for a Danish Rolling Block rifle - Bayonet was manufactured in Germany.

Hello. I just ran across this site and it seems to be right up my alley. I have been a military collector for 60 years. I love to trade and buy only when I can afford it. I am retired US Army and a disabled veteran. I collect mainly the American Civil War and WW II. I specialize in Confederate and German relics from uniforms to guns. I love BC-669 radios and want an enigma. Since I am over the hill everything that I have is available for the right price or trade item. I am presently building myself a Bren Gun and am in need of some small parts.

Evening all!

I'm new to this forum, but not new to the milsurp scene.
I've owned Lee-Enfields as well as Mosin-Nagants and Mausers, but I always go back to the Lee-Enfields... Must be because I've learned to shoot on the .22 version in the air cadets way back, so a No. 4 feels like an old friend.

Found this site while surfing for a muzzleloader kit build tutorial. Looks to be an informative forum. My interests right now are mainly blackpower but I do own several Mauser 98 rifles. They have been sporterized to calibers other than 8mm except the 8mm-06. It is a fine gun. I won't post much but will be lurking and reading to learn. Again, Hello.

I have been viewing this web site for a while and I would just like to say Hi to everyone and thank all that have posted information. The knowledge I have gained here has help me avoid mistakes and expanded my knowledge of my military rifle hobby.
I have collected several M1's and a few 1903's. Both are a joy to shoot. I used to shoot as a young fellow, but got away from shooting for a time. Three years ago I started shooing again and forgot how challenging and exciting the hobby is.
As you can see my user name is "Bataan279". I use this in honor of my father who was a Bataan Death March survivor. He wished that what they went through would not be lost with time. Feel free to ask me about what he has told me. I will try to do my best.
