    No4 mk1

Hi New to the forum, I have been looking at it for about a week now and it has been very helpful. So I thought I would join. One week ago I traded a 1898 US Kragicon that I had built to sell for a NO4 MK1* It was very dirty but I have always wanted the Lee Enfield Rifleicon unforntely the bolt does not match S/N nor does the Magazine clip. The fore end was cut down and hand guards gone. But the bolt was smoth all the parts were present. I will send pictures soon. I have ordered the stock set to restore what I can of the wood.It ha a 5 grove barrel with good lands and shoots great. I just watched two videos someone posted very helpful they were 55 months old so didn't reply. any thing to help with the refirbishing let me know thanks Mike

Greetings all. Been lurking for awhile and have learned something from every visit. Your Knowledge Libraryicon is excellent.
I've always been fond of old battle rifles, but the bug really bit me when I acquired a SMLE No. 1 Mk. III and spent many hours researching it and cleaning every last little piece and making it happy again.
Since then I seem to be attracted to old rifles, which I know little to nothing about, and will be researching and posting questions as I try to prevent them from becoming piles of rust. Thanks in advance for your patience and willingness to share whatever you know.

Hi, Found this forum because I recently acquired a 1918 LF & C (US Mark One) Trench knife with the original sheath and I would like to know the value of it before I sell it. Thanks! John

Newbie needs help with friend's bayonet!

A co-worker who doesn't have access to the internet asked me to post a Australianicon bayonet. After reading some of the comments on this site, I'm concerned about possibly posting a counterfeit. Don't want to do that! I have photos and know the markings. It reads almost identically to the one listed on the boards as a fake - the P1907 Hooked Quillon bayonet with scabbard. How should I proceed? Much thanks for any help provided!
