New 1917 owner
Hi all:
Just picked up a 1917 Eddystone last week. It's Super clean, the furniture although it has several dings and dents is in good shape. It's been refurbished at the San Antonio Armory. Looks as though some Winchester parts may have been used in the refurbishment because I do see a few "w"s here and there. I stripped the whole thing down the other day and to my surprise, there was a huge blop of cosmoline
behind the buttplate in the cutout for the hinge of the cleaning compartment. Other than that, clean, clean, clean. The bore was a bit dirty but cleaned up to a shiny finish after a few passes of some Hoppe's on some patches. Now if the weather would cooperate I'll put it through it's paces.
BTW - I have a Mosin 91/30; a Mosin PU Sniper; a Mosin M44 and a Springfield M1A
NM
And - There's a 1903A3 waiting in the wings

Greetings! I am a new member and came across this site trying to find info about a few inherited weapons. Life has been such that I am just now getting around to indulging my interest in military firearms (military service, school, children, you know the drill). Today I am looking for info on a M1922MI.T Springfield. I have run across references in other threads that indicate that the T may be an I but it really looks like a T. Has serial number 11XXX B. Downloaded the 1940ish Army TM 9-820 and don't find anything there. I truly appreciate any help. Thanks!

I am a retired technician and I ride a H-D 88 Road King
I am a newbe into the computer world ,I'm glad to have found your forum (found the references on Roger Wadham's great Complete Book On Lee Enfield Accurizing) and would like to learn from your community and sometimes share the tips I coud collect during these years
