    Hello everyone :3

Although the only milsurps in my household are my Longbranch No 4 MkI, sporterised and converted to 303-25 and my father's sporterised Lithgowicon No 1 MkIII, I do intend to change that as funds allow (which isn't easy being a poor farmworker).

Thinking of making my father an offer on his Lithgow and restoring it back to mil spec, and may look at purchasing some model of Carcano (even projectile selection for them is minimal) to get started in the milsurp world.

I get the feeling I shall learn a lot in here.

    Regards

    Harry

    Hello

    Hello,
Caught the milsurp bug when I picked up a Mosin on a whim a while ago. Thanks for providing a good forum for this topic, looking forward to sharing stories and reloading info about some cool old guns.

    New Here

Hello all. I recently acquired a 1942 Longbranch No. 4 Mk1*. I'm looking to learn as much as possible about this rifle. I had a No. 5 Mk1 back in the late '70s, but didn't take the time to learn much about it. Wish I still had it.
Here's my Longbranch. Thanks for the informative site.

    Cool Swedish mausers

    Hi Everybody,
As i am a new member of the forum from the UKicon , i'd just like to say how much i am looking forward to hearing from fellow shooter/collectors on subjects such as Enfield No4's , Moisin Nagants and lastly the M41b Swedishicon Mauser which was my latest purchase.
After much struggling to get the Ajack scope sighted in i am looking forward to shooting it down at Bisley later this month at the "Phoenix" meeting.

    hi
I am a long time collector of militaria especially communist bloc. I especially collect sks, tokarev Makarov and nagant revolvers. I also have US and other military weapons like swords (Japaneseicon) and mauser rifles. In 1992 I first published my guide to identifying variations in SKS. I am currently (and it seems forever) rewriting it. I welcome all constructive input and look forward to gaining new information and insight.
