Hello. I am a new member from Canada
I frequent Canadian Gun Nutz but never had a reason to visit the milsurp forum or this website....until now.
I recently acquired a Winchester built M1 Carbine, a Lee Enfield No4 Mk1 T, and although it is not really surplus, I also now have a M14 and am trying to gather more info about them. So far this website and forums have been great!!

Greetings from the Midwest
Enjoying the wealth of information here. Back in the mists of time (over 50 years ago) I learned to shoot with a Lee Enfield, and only recently got a No 4 Mk 2. If I can get some .303 British hope to get it to the range and regain some marksmanship. Have some reloading gear on order.
Kind regards, viejorifle.

I like "Collector" much better than "Pack\rat"
You see, I figured it out. Once you get two or more something you can claim to be a collector, instead of just being a packrat.
I'm here because I'm a sometime, sort of prepper, and in the course of gathering tools for everyone I feel I should prep for, I came to own three WW II vintage USGI hatchets. Now I'm interested to see if I can identify all the hatchets, axes, pick mattocks and e-tools that were issued during the war and set about collecting them.
At some point I'd like to learn a little more about Garands, M-1 Carbines and 1911 pistols, but that's down the road.
Thanks, friends, I'm off to peruse some threads.

Hi All,https://www.milsurps.com/images/smilies/wave.gif
I am new to Military rifle collecting, although I have owned, used, and sold a few nice military rifles over the last 30 years or so. I currently have a couple of nice Mausers, however I seem to have caught the dreaded Enfield bug. The symptoms seem to be undeniable.https://www.milsurps.com/images/smilies/banghead.gif Once I work out how to post pics, I will put a few up.
Regards
LuckyLes

introduction and question
Helo,
My name is Tim and I live in Indiana.
I would like to establish the value of a 1945 Russian sniper scope that I own. Unfortunatrely, I know very little about them. Can anyone help?
