A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. New to Collecting Mil Surp weapons

Hello fellow members. I'm definitely been bitten by the milsurp collecting bug, and look forward to engaging in this forum. Thank you for this opportunity. My main interests started with US smokeless powder rifles (1873 Trapdoor, 1898 Krag, 1903 Springfield, Model 1917, Garandicon, etc.), but lately has drifted to include international rifles, as well, (1878/81 Vetterli, M44 & 99 Mosin Nagant, Polish Mauser, Carcano M38, Arisakaicon 99). Any recommendations appreciated!

    Intro

I joined the NRA twenty years ago with the hope of a good hobby for retirement. Your site has been very good for me through my recovery, thanks very much. My focus is to maintain near as issued rifles and develop deer hunting handloads for them. No real success to speak of yet, but, I did find the forearm side pressure on a M48a. Thank you, Dave

Hello everyone, new member here from Kentucky. Northern KY specifically.

I am a collector and an absolute lover of milsurp stuff, especially firearms.

My most recent additions have been a Lithgowicon no1 mkIII* SMLE and a Longbranch no4 mkI*.

My main reason for joining the forums is to meet like minded people. I have tons of friends into firearms but none that have the "bug".

    Old man, young collector

Hello. I am retired and now have a few minutes a day that do not involve working for the boss wife, and have started a military collection. I hope this forum will educate me a lot.

    Hello

I am a new / old member. I guess due to inactivity my account got closed. I am a long range F-Class shooter and enjoy shooting the vintage military rifles.

Hello all! I'm a new member who enjoys old guns. I have only a few guns - nothing special - just wanting to learn more about them.
