    Cool Hello Community

Hi, I'm Mango Bob. I've been a shooting enthusiast since I was a kid. I like the military rifles the best. I like to think I'm a collector, although, I might be considered just a "gatherer" as I have all kinds of interests. I'm a re-loader and I cast my own bullets also. I think I will fit right in with this forum.

    Bob

New Boy as of this week.....

    Greetings to All.
The name's Gordon and as a Brit. I'm limited to deactivated weapons. I've always been fascinated by the immortal SMLE and the No.4 and have managed to obtain fair examples of each which I enjoy renovating and repairing where necessary. I'm slowly learning the complex history and differences between all the marks so I hope you'll all put up with any daft questions I come up with.
    Yours Aye
    Gordon

Hi all! Sounds like this is the site to gain knowledge on all the old WW2 rifles my dad left me (resting peacefully at Arlington Nat. Cem.) Finally found out why my Arisakaicon carbine has a bent bolt! Thanks!

I am a new member and also a member of CGN using the same handle. I have 3 Enfields. A 1943 Longbranch that has been sporterized by someone else for hunting and a 1953 PF #4 MKII all original in very good shape. I also have a 42 Longbranch that was coverted to a 7.62 X 59 target rifle. I've owned these guns for about 15 years now and thought it time to learn more about them. Looking forward to picking your brains to learn more about these and reading the info that is available on this forum.

    Hello to you all!

    dastier - New member

Hello to all military surplus gun nuts here. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba which is definitely living up to its nickname today! (high of -20 C but its a dry cold -yeah right) Anyways I'm primarily intrested in WW2 rifles and handguns and have a small collection of bolt and semi auto rifles. I'm very interested in the Eastern Front weapons (have a SVT40 and Mosin Nagant M91/30 - in fact the Mosin was the first milsurp I ever bought $39 back in prehistoric times). I'm looking for Polish Mausers, Germanicon handguns, Tokarev TT33 - any weapons found before and during World War 2 in Eastern Europe and Finlandicon/Swedenicon or designed during WW2 that might be of interst (of course funds are limited). I also shoot modern military and hunting rifles and I hunt whitetails and upland birds. Again I'm very interested in the Eastern Front during WW2 and would like to connect with same in my area. Any help and hints for collecting milsurp weapons, equipment, etc is most welcome. I am also a member of CGN. and use the handle fugawi there. Thanks dastier.
