71/84 Mauser, made in 1888 (last year of production). It is unissued and unfired (its amazing to see a 121 year old rifle that is brand new !)

Okay , perhaps a tutorial for the unlearned like me ? The pop up window is frustrating with the http already in place .

I don't know why you got "thumbnail".

Did you use the "Insert Image" icon above the text box?
