Rarity of Original Pre-WW1 Service Rifles

John once said it still has the original finish, both on the stock and the action itself. My favorite M1903 however is what John identified as a Officers Purchase. It was equipped with a 1000 yards Lyman 48C, plus a Winchester A5 telescope. More dings and dangs, but I also love it for the fact that someone wanted to part it out on ebay.com, and I was able to buy all of them and agree upon a price of the "rest", what was mainly the barreled action.

Got it ... just have to wait and take some better pictures. I use natural light and we've had some dark days, when I've been home.
