M44 unwrapped after 25 years
I know, I know, what took me so long! Purchased this beautiful Century Arms M44 in the early 80's. It was new in the wrap, small import stamp on barrel aft of front sight. It's an all matching Izheusk, s.n.3655, receiver dated 1948. I assume these are/were quite common? When it cools off here in Arizona (and that might be October!) it's off to the range! Thanks for any comments, Don

My senior memory is flawed, I've been corrected on the date. I couldn't have purchased it before 1986, possibly early 90's. Cheers, Don

Depends on your definition of common I guess. They are available but the price is going up on these and they are getting harder to find. Looks like you have a nice one.
