That's good. Factory here is about $35/$45CDN per box of 20 and none is 220 gr. The old stuff is usually about $3CDN per loaded cartridge. $60 per box...and it's old. Not collectable, just old.

That’s pretty close to what I see here. And like you said, no 220 grain.
My local range is closed for repairs/renovations but it will be interesting to see what “vintage” 220 does vs modern 180.

Funny you should mention that, I found this at my gun shop. 20 bucks for all of it. I am lucky I am liked by the owner!

Oh, one-upping me, I see!
Haha, looks like a nice score! It’s a wonderful thing when the local gun store is the “place where everybody knows your name.”

BAR, I believe they are 220s, the boxes held a little mix of everything.

All,
The ammo just came in.
The boxes and cases look very clean except a bit of rainbow colored oxidation.
I happened to notice, however, that when I shake the cases I can hear powder rattle in some cases but not on others.
Call me silly but I’m mighty careful with my triple-digit-old firearms. This can’t be a good sign for the ammo, right?
