    Good buy on ammo

Got 500 rounds Sellier and Bellot FMC for $199 on GB. $12 Shipping (he has 1,000 for $385). Cheaper than Wolf, better than wolf, and reloadable brass.

I had a box and it shot to exact POA as LC GI did in my Underwood. Outfit is Ammunition center in Oklahoma. AT $20 a box, that's about $10-15 a box cheaper than it is around here, if you can find it. I tried Aguilla once, but it was underpowered, printed low, and had some failures to cycle.

BTW, Brazillian Magtech is excellent carbine ammo, also.

Watch out, though, someone is selling "LC52" carbine ammo. It is He does say it is Chinese, but not that it is corrosive garbage.

I am down to just under 650 rounds, so I decided I better restock. Besides, I want brass for reloading. I had about 2,000 cases, but it was swiped during my last move. I only have about 200 cases right now.

FWIW, I have 800 rounds of Lake City ammo listed on GB with NO reserve. It's headstamped "LC 54" and is in excellent condition. If you need a reference, contact Charlie The Painter. For those interested:

    Well Hello Magnum Mikie,
Nice to see you could stop by Luse.
    Been a while.

'If you need a reference, contact Charlie The Painter'
I'll give you a reference all right........
Mike's always been a great seller....when he'll let go of something.
I bought a QHMC from him that makes for my best shooter.
Nearest ammo around here is 1hr away. S&B @ $24.95 plus tax.
Your 800 rds of still in the box LC 54 is well worth a $300 asking price.
That's what about .38 per round? Plus ship...
Still cheaper than a hour drive each way.
    Good clean, stored correctly....
You should have no trouble hitting the buy now for $300.00.....
I think you should have asked for more... ;-)

    Stick around Mike,
We can always use your input.
    About carbines anyways......

    Cheers

    Ammo

I'll say $300 is a good buy! I wish I had seen it before I bought the S&B. Oh well, $20 a box +$1 a box shipping is still a great buy. Too bad I am broke now!
