Annealing cases
I will be annealing my 577-450 cases befor I reload them. I've read about the techniques for doing it but have not read what tempurature marking crayons (templic ?) that people use. Which one do people use? Or, what temp are people trying to reach before quenching?
I am currently using jamison brass in a mkIV. I only neck size enough for a snug fit.
Thanks.

Annealing Brass - June, 96 Cases
It says to use 650 degree F. I don't use the crayon, I use the liquid brush on that I get from Brownells TEMPIL : 2 oz. 650 F. (877-000-001) - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools
