    Question Pattern 37 Webbing Assembly

I've got a box full of Pattern 1937 web gear. It's all in unissued condition and I believe it's complete or very close to complete.

I've laid it out and looked at it from all the angles, and as far as I can tell it's worse than a piece of IKEA furniture without the instructions.

Is there any diagrams or instructions available online on how to assemble this kit? I'd like to put it together but don't want to do it incorrectly.

    Thanks/Stevo

    Thank you, Light Infantry

Thanks for your posting. I have a number of Pattern 37 items, and never knew, for sure, how anything other than the braces, belt and pouches went together.

    Thumbs up

Here's a couple of good entries in the MKLicon on Pattern '37 Web Gear.

1937 Pattern - WWII British Webbing Set (click here)

1937 Pattern - WWII British Soldier's Haversack (click here)

This haversack is packed with a British soldier's personal kit dated from the 1940's period.

    Regards,
    Badger
