Winchester Model 12 sling swivels
Hello,
I have a Winchester model 12 in 16 Gauge, which has had the barrel cut down to either 18" or 20". I am not home right now to measure it. I wish to add a military type sling....M1907 or M1....and wish to know if there is a military style front magazine/barrel sling swivel that I can use. I wish the swivel to be on the bottom, NOT on the side. Have seen a WWII period Remington swivel. I can install the rear one myself, but need a front swivel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Attachment 47043

Did you ever find the sling mount you were looking for? Currently doing the same with my M12

Jason I have a front sling swivel as shown but it is for 20 gauge.
Not sure if the outside barrel diameter is the same.

I inlet a ‘03 or krag lower swivel and built this unit for the upper band. Used a bbl band swivel and a spare M12 magazine tube band. Used jbweld. Had to redo one side. My riot shotgun build donor is from 1925. Had a polychoke and a busted stock. The trenchgun build donor is a reblue 1940.

Looks mighty fine. The rear sling swivel inletting is exactly the same way as I did the 870 Remington I mounted a front brace and heat shield on. Milling cutter...
