    Bren?

I am really new to this, but I am in the middle of a 1919a4 project and I really enjoy the work. I became turned on to the Bren by an article in SGN. Thus I have a few questions.

What is the better gun? Mk1 or Mk2
Do they have plenty of parts available?
    Other Bren resources?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

All opinion HLF but better style, appearance, finish and all that, the original pre Aug/Sept or so Mk1. But for rugged no nonsense reliability, ease of maintenance, then the Mk2

Does WHO have plenty of parts available?

Any other sources? Just hold on to your horses HL because a book wot I writ abut this magnificent gun is on the threshhold of being published by Small Arms Review in the USAicon. It's about 250,000 words plus the usual pictures (but NOT the 'here's me with a blow-up version and here's me with a Mk1 and here's me with a piston' type of photos you ususlly see.......), flow charts and lineage etc etc. In short, it's been a long time coming but it's a monster tome.........................
