I have a type 44 carbine. I shot my blackbear with it this spring however that was the last shot I ever got out of it(talk about something to make you a little nervous about). the bolt was siezed. I was able to get it open with some leverage and never felt anything snap or give way and there wasn't much dirt anywhere inside before cleaning so I don't think that was a contributing factor. however now the action feels like it's full of sand. it's gritty, stiff and not at all the smooth crisp action that it was until that time. I don't see anything broken off and the bolt appears to be in perfect shape. has anyone ever seen this happen?
