LongBranch No4 Mk1 Markings
I just got a No4 Mk1, and I can't figure out a few of the markings.
1) A white "CL-1" and "4-84" painted on the stock.
2) A few arrow looking things located all over the rifle
3) "55L8762" serial number but no year marking
Cheers,

No date on the receiver under "LONG BRANCH" ?
The serial number is the wrong size and font.
I suspect yours is a replacement made up on a black receiver. Would be interested in a close up of the left side of the receiver.
Here is the last update I did on the 2,300 serial numbers I've collected.
1941 Mk 1 0L244
1941 Mk 1 1L2xxx (asking owner of this one to contact me)
1942 Mk1* 2L1037
1942 Mk1* 26L9463
1943 Mk1* 22L28XX
