Hello,

This is my first post on this site. I just acquired this piece and there are some very odd characteristics about it: 1. Mannlicher Stock and 2. Very Heavy Barrel

Mannlicher Stock: As you can see the stock has the proof marks on it but where the pistol grip is, there is no way that it could be a factory stock, given the size of the grip.

What I find odd about it is that the barrel is very heavy--which makes it seem like an after market, but it has both the Canadianicon and Britishicon proof marks. t

I took this to my gun guys house to see what he thought, and he is as stumped as I am about it. We couldn't find information in any reference material to figure out where it came from.

Thanks to anyone who can help out with this.
