Have you tried Epps in Orillia or Al Simmons in Hamilton?

Consider making up some cast bullet loads. I'm trying that now.

The government severely regulates the import of ammunition, including surplus, into Canadaicon. It's to keep us safe, you know.

The only "cheap" surplus available right now is Czechicon steel-core 7.62x39. It sells for around $200 per case of 1120. We're fortunate your ATF declared steel-core M43 to be evil, otherwise we wouldn't even have this stuff on the market, IMO.

I'm in Edmonton. Have you tried P&D Enterprises for brass? I was in there a few months back and they had some 7.62X54 brass. Also I think I saw some live rounds at Wholesale Sports. I have a Mossin Nagant now, and a SVT-40 on the way, and will need more ammo once it warms up again.
