Can always count on you for a good laugh Harlan. Hey he could use the marker to make that cartouhceee look better. (I can never remember how to spell the c word) I could and will just use the word stamp for now on. Path of least resistance.

I hate to say it, but it would be fire wood for me...

Ok, I will give $100 for it as long as its still functional. Always wanted a beater M1A1
stock as a truck gun. Unfortunately that is all that one is worth now...
Sorry...

This carbine sold today at Kull's Old Town Station Auction for $1,450, plus a 12% buyer's premium, plus Kansas sales tax. What you couldn't see in the posted pictures were 6 brass pin repairs (4 in the rear of the stock, two along the left side) as well as rust on the muzzle that appeared to extend down inside the barrel. I didn't have a gauge with me at the time to check the bore. Also noticed that the slide was a T6. Can only guess as to the remaining internals. What was visible, and included in pictures posted, were T3 sight, T4 mag catch, flip safety, T3 barrel band. I know M1A1
's are getting scarce, but his was too rich for my blood for what you got.
