    Red face US Rifle Model 17 at range




    December 25th, 2007. My father is an ex-Home Guardsman who always sang the praises of the "Enfield Pattern" as he always called it. I surprised him with this at our local gun club. he shot a 5-inch group at 100 yards, and he hadn't even seen an Enfield since 1945! I thought that was pretty impressive. Just wanted to share.

    Great photo's,..looks like your dad hasn't forget how to shoot ,..also like your Model 1917,...looks to be in great shape , i have a P 14 which i really like too .

    Your compliments are most welcome! No, he hasn't forgotten how, which is fantastic. I've been thinking about a P14 as well. Any thoughts?
