Sorry about the angle Stevo, I was entirely too tired when I took the photos, but, thanks for the Radom M-44. I just wasn't sure, most of the Beech I see has the little squares in the pattern, but, not always. The birch on the other hand has a tighter grain, many thanks-SDH

Birch? Looks like beech to me...? Can you get a pic with more light of the wood? Same for the 41B. Can't make out the wood grain in the photo.

For me to best be of help, take nice closeup pics of the woodgrain on a big flat area like the side of the buttstock. Lots of light.

Well the Pole is DEFINITELY beech and the CG63 is walnut. Not sure on the 41B?
