Hello all,
I'll keep this brief as I wrote a yarn over at GunBoards. I'm a leatherworker with an interest in 19th/20th century military case making and other issued leather goods. I needed a set of replacement scope caps for my No. 4 T and was not happy with the water buffalo, wet molded repros coming in from overseas so I made my own in the proper British leatherworking fashion. ie. properly saddle stitched end cap construction, creased and burnished edges, pure vegetable-tanned leather, twisted linen thread etc.
Many thanks to Warren for looking over prototypes and helping me narrow down the dimensions. Wouldn't have been possible without his help.
I can also modify the ocular cap to accommodate the wider dimensions of the MK I w. sunshade.
Every hole is made by hand with an awl and each stitch knotted by hand in the classic leatherworking tradition.
Please reach out if you need a set. Price is $150 each shipping included in the states. Will have to figure out total cost to ship overseas and to Canada.
Payment methods: Check, money order, paypal, venmo, or if you'd like to pay by card you can do so on my site at the link below.
These are all made to order so lead time is roughly 5-7 days from purchase.
Thanks all.
