An original Boyt M7 and it looks very nice. You don't see them around much any more, more M3s or black M7s. Not that they're rare, just not many left on the market. Boyt made lots of leather goods. As for the value...hang on a minute...

The condition and the green waxy substance on the metal are consistant with the M8 I have that is known to be legit. Take care with the fasteners as they can be a bit fragle. Perhaps a bit of wax type lube can prevent damage fastening/unfastening. Value? I have seen some on e-bay which is probably about the best way to determine real world value (careful of repros). Very nice piece in need of a 1911.

M7s are brown with two straps...and M3s have one...

For a revolver no less. Those aren't as common as some others.

And be an excellent addition to the collection, which I think must be flourishing by now..

I like the layout for your stuff, it still gets ahead of you though. After a bit it's sort of deeper than wide and you can't see the bottom any more. Some very good looking gear there. Yes, there are several of us here that will admit to walking around the house wearing equipment like the M7...and .45.
