One of my buddies bought one of these back in the 80s. It is a British Dispatch Helmet for Motorcycle Couriers. It has the same shell as the British Para Helmet but has a different suspension
system. My friend thought about converting his to a Jump Helmet in fact. My take on the symbol is that it is Polish. If you watch the movie " A Bridge Too Far " The Polish Paratroopers have a similar marking on their Helmets.
