What is meant by "original Lyman rear sight relief"? The description sounds like the relief cut is original. Just curious. Early Springfield 1903 Stock, 1910 w/handguard : Collectible Parts & Accessories at GunBroker.com

There is no such thing as an "original Lyman rear sight relief". It was added a later time. Nice stock, escept for that, and the HH handguard and other "metal" are probably worth $100+, but the Lyman cut sort of "spoils" it.

Is it OK to put stuff for sale on the discussion forums now ?? BTW, the listed item was not a Springfield stock.

I understand just the WTS/WTB forums. Stuff for sale can be brought up, if the purpose is to seek information or to post a "Hey, guys, get a load of this"-type of post. I doubt if Badger wants us to clutter up the "regular" forums with sale ads. Check with him via PM/email for sure.
