Winchester 97 WWII TRENCH GUN
What is a fair value of real 1942 Win. 97 trench gun. Early E 933000 range. Very good + condition. All original except for the stock. Restocked with winchester stock with metal checkered plate. Sling swivel is held by two screws in the same way as original stock would have it.earlier six rows heat shield. The gun is totally correct for E933XXX range ,EXCEPT FOR THE STOCK. Condition would be best described about 95%.

Unless I missed something, you're going to need more pics to be able to get a fair appraisal from these guys. 98% condition, yet the wrong butt...there'll be more, we need much more info. There's threads here to take example of what we need...

Based on your hearsay and one picture, I would estimate the value in the $600.00 - $700.00
range at best.

Maybe he brought the story and not the weapon.
