RE; W.R.A. M1 Garand End bloc clips

Hi, maybe one of you guys could help or direct me in the right direction. i know alot about the parts of the m1 garand but little about the clips. a buddy of mine gave me a bandoler of full clips .the clips are marked w.r.a, and the clip latch detente is cut all the way through the metal wall on both sides. and all the clips are full with w.r.a. 42 30.06 m2 ammo. should i save this stuff to put with my winchester garand? or is it worth something? im not looking to sell, but i dont want to shoot something collectable. he has more he said he will give me as soon as he digs them out. when and who used this type of clip? i never seen this type, thats why im asking. what are your thoughts???
    thanks!

Everything is someone's collectable these days. I have 35 different variations of M1icon enbloc clips. Seventeen manufactures, and I'm not a serious collector!. I paid $50.00 to get a WRA early cut through clip, of course it was in a group of twentyfour clips, so it was a little over $2.08. The rare one in the group is the one at 11:00 o'clock.. a Fedders, Buffalo (fB).

Yes those Winchester Repeating Arms clips are collectible. No I wouldn't shoot the ammo it is corrosive and collectible.

Yes they are worth a lot to the right guy, and USGI is right, the ammo should be corrosive, { but I bet it will still shoot } so don't shoot it. even the bandoler is worth a few bucks if it WWII. keep it, or give to some one that has a win. Garandicon {like me}. Great find, don't let it get away.
