New member hello and a ? on a old mil spotting scope w/ photos

Hello everyone! New member here and stumbled on this site after trying to research a spotting scope I picked up recently.

So I figured I would ask the experts -- you guys for any help as to locating info on it and possibly a value would be great.

    and

Markings on the scope are as follows: Telescopic Sight Model of 1923 and then NO 5
    Next line is 1925

    JOM 9.26
Power is marked 15 and field is 4% at 48ft

It also has a spring-loaded cap with a removable ring so you could clean both sides of the lens (I assume)

I have some photos below and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you all very much

    Bruce
