Carl Gustasstads
Evening,
I have a rifle in like new condition and I cannot seem to properly identify it. It has Carl Gustafsstads 1914 Gevarsfaktori on the barrel and 037 stamped back on the receiver. Is this a WWII rifle? It is in such good condition I cannot believe it is that old.
I will post some pictures ASAP.
Thanks for any help

When you write that "037" is on "the back of the receiver" do you mean on the safety/bolt handle/cocking piece/ejector ? The Swedish Mausers (except for the Husqvarna M1938) had the last 3 digits of the serial number stamped on all major components.
