    LHO update

LHO update. They are all blued and all of the necessary screws have arrived. We are now waiting for all of the knobs to go through anodizing, but we do have to get in line for that process. They're working with a reduced crew because of........... you guessed it .... COVID.
If they don't make us wait too long, we'll see these on the website next week.

Just a little insight into this particular run of 130 units. It took 500 pounds of T1 steel to manufacture 130 units with a total ending weight of 121 pounds. looking at that bin of chips from this project, it's hard to imagine that it actually did take that much.

You won't see an LH0 from us made of T1 steel again. I have explained all of this in a previous post but our research is showing us that we can use a slightly softer steel for the next run and still maintain complete structural integrity. We found a pair of handles so we will be able to take a photograph of the very first production unit and post it soon. That photo will also be on the label of the new boxes.

The 250 LHO's we made seven or eight years ago went for $239.00 each.
Different process, different materials and far more machining time is going to put these units at about $252.oo, and that is absolutely as tight as I can hold these. As soon as all the handles are back from anodizing, it will go on the website.

Here she is, gents! What should have been a Christmas present four years ago, is now the same thing in 2020. This particular LHO operates absolutely as smooth as silk.
Now working on assembly and packaging and it will be on the website just within a day or so.
