    Mauser Model 1893.....

I had the opportunity today to shoot one of these in 8X57, I believe, which had some "farsi" characters on the side of the action. It was in "as new" condition and shot very well. Can anyone advise if these are available on the surplus market...and where? Thanks, Dave

I have seen two, I assuming that these are the Turkishicon model 1893 Mauser. IIRC the first Mauser with an interal magazine. Both I have seen were in only good condition.
