What Have I Got??
Long story short..................I have a WWI Mauser rifle that needs a new stock and hardware (some bozo sporterized it a l-o-n-g time ago). The receiver is marked: [crown]/Erfurt/1916. The barrel is 24" give-or-take from the muzzle to the end of the chamber. I've been told it's a 98a (small ring) model. Can someone tell me definately what it is and where can I find the stock/handguard and furniture for it? I know it ain't gonna' be a cheap fix.
Thanks
Jon

If you know of a source for hens teeth, they might be able to supply the wood for a Kar98a. In the real world, your only chance is to find a wall-hanger as a source of spares.
