    Rock Island 1903

I have a recently purchased Rock Island 1903 with serial number 207016. It has a barrel dated 9-13 SA. From what I can gather online it was made in 1911. Why would it have a 1913 barrel from a different manufacturer? It appears to be parkerized. The stock has only a P on the underside. Muzzle is really good. It appears that the bolt is from an 03a3 by Remington. Pictures are attached. Please share any information you have about this rifle.

I realize that this is below the "safe" number however would it not be reasonable to assume that the rifle has been fired many many times over the years with no failure of the receiver?

Your rifle has been overhauled, re-barreled, refinished, and re-assembled from mixed parts. The rifle is reasonably safe to shoot if it has good headspace and a bright, slick, shiny bore.
