Advice on future m1 carbine purchase

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...?Item=81858873
what do you guys think of that one?

my max will be 700. i think 700 will be too much for that, i pray it wont get to be that much. the stock looks to be alittle soaked in oil, or is it just me. looks like it may need some work. any opinions about it? i havent bid yet, but may if multiple forums (im asking to make sure i dont get ripped off, i did my research, i just need some reassurance) say its a fair price and my gut says its good.

    thanks

Are you in Canadaicon or the US?

    Ah I see.
I was going to comment that the last couple of rifles you'd posted seem a bit over priced, but that is based on the current Canadianicon market. IN the states carbines are a little more dear at the moment.

That rifle looks for sure quite nice, but I'm not really sure what American value to put on it. Up here someone would probably pay $450-500CAD for it.

Here in the US an Import marked M1icon Carbine can fetch $400 to $450. If it's unmessed with $700 to $750 and up. Depends on what maker etc.

Ahh, got my first post out of my system.

    Another Great forum.
