Did shoot it once all most as good as my sig 9mm. This was the first gun with a decoking lever that most modern guns have today.

Lots of features there were carried on to todays guns. That was something I noticed way back when I was young...

The German Walther PP and the PPK had decocking levers well before the Walther designed P-38 came along. It is where Walther got the idea for the P-38 to have it. Now because of the age of it there are some P-38 pistols that the decocking system doesn't work properly and these can fire when the hammer is dropped. Always be sure to keep the pistol pointed in a safe direction when you lower the hammer.
